As the official fuel sponsor, PETRONAS will contribute a total of RM1 million mainly in the form of fuel for use by more than 1,000 official vehicles during the Summit. The contribution also includes the sponsorship of 41 Summit announcement billboards located at strategic locations within Kuala Lumpur, KL International Airport and Putrajaya.
A short presentation ceremony was held today at Wisma Putra in Putrajaya where PETRONAS President & Chief Executive Tan Sri Dato’ Mohd Hassan Marican handed over the contribution to Foreign Minister Dato’ Seri Syed Hamid Albar.
PETRONAS hopes that the contribution would augment all the efforts undertaken by the Malaysian Government towards making the 13th NAM Summit, themed Continuing the Revitalisation of the NAM, a successful and memorable Summit.
