PETRONAS TIGHTENS SECURITY MEASURES

Petronas Offshore Oil & Gas Latest NewsAs a result of the heightened concern following the recent incidents in the United States, PETRONAS would like to inform that it
has implemented tighter security measures at all its buildings and facilities in Malaysia and overseas.

The Company is currently monitoring and will continue to monitor the safety of its employees who are either travelling overseas or attached to its overseas operations and is pleased to inform that they are all accounted for and are safe.

Insofar as PETRONAS-sponsored students overseas are concerned, especially those studying in the United States, the Company is also monitoring their movements and would like to reassure parents that they are safe and are in constant contact with our Student Advisors. PETRONAS has Student Advisors in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. There are 154 PETRONAS-sponsored students currently in the United States, 115 in Australia, 242 in the United Kingdom and 10 in Japan. PETRONAS’ Student Advisors are in close contact with Malaysia’s diplomatic missions in the various countries.
